I’m sure I’m not alone when I say thank goodness 2020 is over! What a year it was for everyone. In the real estate world, we experienced a lot of uncertainty, but were able to adapt, reassess the way we operate, and work through it to help our clients with essential home sales and purchases. We can look back and say that we have learned and grown from the difficult year that was 2020, and go into 2021 stronger. We are going into to 2021 with market conditions that can benefit both buyers and sellers. For buyers, interest rates are at an all-time low allowing you to get into your dream home with an affordable payment. For sellers, the available inventory on the market the past few months has been so low that it has remained a strong seller’s market. More than ever, it is important to have a realtor represent you in the sale of your home to help you navigate multiple offers and get the most money out of the sale of your home. Some listings are getting 6 or more offers! While this is great for sellers, this means that buyers need to exercise patience and work through disappointment when competing for a home.
