I have always loved houses, building, and anything related to architecture. My father was an industrial arts teacher who built houses in the summer, including our family home, and so I earned my college money by pounding nails and cutting boards. It was no surprise to anyone that I married a carpenter, that we have bought and sold fixer-uppers and managed rental units, and again, no surprise when I found my way to real estate and became a partner at Latitude 58 Real Estate Group.
I have lived in Juneau since I was a kid, leaving to attend college in Oregon and California. After college, I returned to the mountains, the water, and the amazing community that I love. In 1990, I married Hans Moser and, between shifts at his family’s restaurant, El Sombrero, we opened Mountain Gears, a bike and snowboard shop that we ran until 2003. In 1996, I started teaching, and soon afterward our family grew with the birth of our two children–my son Logan, who is now 25 years old, and my daughter Chatham, who is 23.
After over 23 years in the teaching profession, a career that I loved dearly, I found a new passion that utilizes my extroverted personality, my communication skills, and my knowledge of the Juneau real estate market. I have been matching people with homes for the last four years! In my spare time you will find me mountain biking, skiing, playing hockey and volleyball, traveling, and enjoying a good book. I love people and the fact that I can help someone find a home or transition to a new beginning brings me joy.
I am lucky to be working and learning with the professional REALTORS® at Latitude 58.
